10,000 ATTEND MASSIVE ANTI-RACISM FESTIVAL IN LIVERPOOL
September 07, 2005, 01:56 PM
Thousands of people, black and white, turned out in Toxteth Liverpool last Sunday to honour the memory of murdered black teenager Anthony Walker and show unity in the face of racism.
Organised by Merseyside Coalition Against Racism and Fascism and Merseyside TUC, the free festival saw performances by bands like Ladytron, the 747s, Pete Wylie, and Anthony's Uncle Shiloh's reggae band Jahdeeanko.
Watch this space for news of our gig for Anthony at the Liverpool Academy.
